Energy Savers Network was founded with a dual mission:
Help the climate
Help the people
At Energy Savers Network, we are working toward that mission by connecting our network of volunteers with limited income houses throughout Western North Carolina to provide energy efficiency and weatherization services at no cost to the homeowner.
We believe that every person can make a difference in the face of climate change, and our team of volunteers has proven that every person can make a difference in another person’s life.
Not only does our approach lower the energy burden of some of our most vulnerable communities, but Energy Savers Network empowers volunteers, homeowners, and donors to work together toward a more sustainable future. By increasing the energy efficiency of homes of limited income and households of color, we can make a major dent in our national energy footprint.
Energy Savers Network is still in its infancy, but the network is growing every day. This is a massive undertaking, but the outpouring of support has been overwhelming. If you would like to join our network and become an energy saver, we would welcome you as a part of our network!
Help the climate by helping people.

We are honored to have a support of our fiscal sponsor, Green Built Alliance. Founded in 2001 as the WNC Green Building Council, Green Built Alliance is a nonprofit organization advancing sustainability in the built environment through community education, measurable standards, and regional action.
ESN is under the umbrella of the Blue Horizons Project, which is a community campaign to help everyone to lower their energy use.
